Originally from Dungiven in the North of Ireland, I descend from a family of artisan blacksmiths. From an early age my passion for form, function and design was apparent. I have always had a special interest in metals and have spent time ‘at the forge’ and in metal fabrication before settling on jewellery . This background has given me an invaluable understanding of a wide selection of metals. I have an innate flair for drawing and sculpture and apply my own design ideas and techniques alongside those learned through further education and working practice .

I approach all design briefs with great care and thought, and feel very strongly that a piece of jewellery should be personal to the wearer . My award-winning jewellery provides the wearer with a constant relationship with the piece and is likely to be the most symbolic and personal item of jewellery you will ever wear.

I’m not scared of pushing boundaries on materials and design. So if you want something a little different from the rest I will happily work with you to produce a one-off unusual design. The core of my design work is organic, fluid and spiritual.
